‘‘If there's "one thing" to say to kids to gain their trust, I haven't found it yet! Each patient is unique, and what works for one kiddo may not work for another. But I always tell my families; first and foremost, I'm a mom. I care for each patient as if he or she was my own child. Being a mom has perfected my skill to give a little push or a little hug when necessary.”
Dr. Juntgen is married and a mom to four amazing kids, Elaine, Matthew, Harvey, and Duke. She met her husband Dave in middle school, and they graduated from the same high school in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has been a Hoosier all her life, except for when she attended dental school for four years in Cleveland, OH.
Dentistry seemed to choose Dr. Juntgen. She knew from a young age that she wanted to work in medicine, but finds dentistry adds the benefit of business ownership. This allows Dr. Juntgen to invest more time in her team and community, promoting outreach and charity involvement whenever possible.
Of course, the best part of her job though is having the privilege of hanging out with the coolest little people all day long – your kids!
Dr. Juntgen has two dogs, Owen and Linus. Away from the office, her hobbies include playing with her children, volunteering at her church, decorating, and CrossFit.

What flavor ice cream would you be?
That is impossible to answer. I love all ice cream, it’s my kryptonite! Whether in a cone or bowl, freezing cold or melted soup, topped with sprinkles or plain, I LOVE ALL ICE CREAM!
