Laura Juntgen, DMD, MSD, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Hamilton County Pediatric Dentistry was founded in 2013 by Dr. Laura Juntgen, a Westfield resident and mom or four. Learn a little more about our founding doctor below.

Education

Dr. Laura Juntgen completed her undergraduate studies at DePauw University. She graduate summa cum laude with a degree in kinesiology and sports medicine. After graduation, she attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Juntgen then returned to Indiana University to complete her pediatric dental residency at Riley Children’s Hospital.

“I knew from the start I wanted to work with kids. Indiana was my home, and I was eager to return. The opportunity to establish a practice in Carmel was a dream come true.”

Family

Dr. Juntgen and her husband were both born in Fort Wayne and attended Snider High School. They briefly dated as teenagers and reconnected after college. Laura and Dave were married in 2009 and started their family with a labradoodle named Owen and a goldendoodle named Linus.

Dr. Juntgen is now a busy mom of four kids. Whether playing hockey at the ice rink or walking the dogs, her family tries to spend as much time together as a six pack. You can often catch them at Carmel and Westfield parks either walking the creeks or climbing on playground equipment.

“I love having a big family and thrive in organized chaos! In fact, sometimes I don’t know what to do with quiet time!”

Practice Goal

Dr. Juntgen founded Hamilton County Pediatric Dentistry with one primary goal: Create an office environment that fosters caring, enthusiasm, and education for kids. Appoints were designed to be longer and more personalized, giving the team adequate time to build confidence and fun into each and every visit. Dr. Juntgen treats each child with compassionate and patience.

“It’s truly a privilege to work with kids. They keep me smiling, keep me laughing, and keep me on my toes. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
