We strive to save all healthy teeth, but sometimes situations call for removing a tooth if it’s severely decayed or needs to make room for orthodontic treatment.

Our tooth extraction service:

  • Is comfortable for the parents and kids alike
  • Can prevent further dental issues
  • Will allow for proper healing
  • Can make room for orthodontics if requested by an orthodontist
Tooth extraction can benefit your child in a number of ways:
Prevention:

An extraction stops decay and disease from spreading to other teeth and surrounding areas.

Restore health:

The removal of an infected tooth preserves your child’s smile, helping them feel like themselves again.

Alleviate pain:

Our team strives to provide your kiddo with the best care possible. Our goal is to give them a healthy, pain-free smile.

Treatment Designed for Your Child
Exceptional care for Hamilton County.
We want your child to be happy.

While the thought of tooth extractions may be daunting, we have a simple process to help you both feel stress-free:

Step 1:

First, you’ll request an appointment for your child. We’ll set up a phone call to get to know them better to create a special experience. Our team will welcome you and give you a tour of the office. We’ll design a dental bib for your child and play their favorite movie while we take a look around. Dr. Juntgen or our new patient coordinator will answer any of your questions.

Step 2:

For the procedure, we’ll use a local anesthetic so your child doesn’t feel any discomfort. But don’t worry – we’ll keep the anesthetic out of sight. To make the administration easier, we’ll use topical numbing jelly and laughing gas.

Step 3:

Once the extraction is complete, your little star will be given gauze to bite down on and we’ll give you thorough instructions for after-care to ensure proper healing. Your child should take it easy for the rest of the day. But as soon as you get home, you should alert the Tooth Fairy!
